Arkansas hasn’t beaten Alabama football since Nick Saban took over as the Crimson Tide head coach.

It’s been 5,537 days since Arkansas last beat Alabama and 5,111 days since the Razorbacks beat a top-five team. They are attempting to knock out both streaks with Alabama on the ropes against the Hogs tonight.

Last time Arkansas beat Alabama football was in 2006

The 2006 game is the last time Arkansas beat Alabama and they needed double overtime to do it.

Hogs quarterback Mitch Mustain threw the game-winning touchdown to Ben Cleveland with Jeremy Davis booting the extra point for the 24-23 win.

That was the only touchdown Mustain threw that game when he had three interceptions. He was outplayed by Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson who threw three touchdowns, including one to DJ Hall who had a game-high 144 receiving yards.

Darren McFadden ran for 122 yards and a touchdown for the Razorbacks who also got 65 yards from Felix Jones.
