Bears fans chant ‘Fire Nagy’ after loss to Ravens

Chicago Bears fans chanted for head coach Matt Nagy to be fired while leaving Soldier Field.
The Chicago Bears are 3-7 and the fanbase wants head coach Matt Nagy to be fired yesterday.
Chicago hosted the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon. While Baltimore has the better roster, the Ravens were without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson. Though his backup Tyler Huntley had the good Utah Utes vibes carrying over for him after last night’s big win, it was a total botch job of a coaching performance out of Nagy. The fanbase has had enough and wants him gone.
After seeing Chicago lose at home 16-13 to a depleted Ravens team, Bears fans were chanting “Fire Nagy” as they filed out of Soldier Field.

This loss to the Ravens has to be the tipping point. Sure, the McCaskeys can deny it all they want, but Nagy has to go. He was supposed to be the next offensive genius stemming from the Andy Reid coaching tree. What the Bears got instead was an overhyped offensive coordinator who proved to be over his skis as a head coach. It is at the point where he cannot coach another game.
If this Ravens loss does not present a clear argument to ownership that they need to move on from their underperforming head coach, an embarrassing loss to the winless division rival Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving Day should do the trick. Detroit will win a game at some point. With the way the Bears have played this year under Nagy, do not be shocked if the Lions win big on Thursday.
Once again, the Bears will remain a dead franchise for as long as Nagy is allowed to coach them.
