College GameDay Week 13 location: Where is ESPN heading for rivalry week?

ESPN’s College GameDay will stay in the Big Ten once again for rivalry week, and it will be for “The Game.”

It is Week 13 of the college football season, which is referred to as rivalry week. That left some interesting choices for ESPN as to where College GameDay will go on location for the big week. They were in Big Ten territory this past weekend, and they will stay in the conference this Saturday.

College GameDay announced that the program will take place in Ann Arbor for “The Game” between the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Come on, there was literally no other choice. Not only is this the most heated rivalry in all of college football, but it carries some heavy playoff implications.

Both Ohio State and Michigan hold 10-1 records heading into the final week of the regular season following their dominant wins over Michigan State and Maryland, respectively. Not only would the winner clinch the Big Ten East division and a spot in the Conference Championship Game, but they will undoubtedly hold a College Football Playoff spot.

As for the rivalry itself, Michigan holds the most wins in their head-to-head meetings with 58. However, the Wolverines have not defeated the Buckeyes since 2011. Ohio State is currently on an eight-game winning streak against Michigan.

College GameDay will be on location for what will be the most interesting game of the Week 13 slate.
