Big 12 Championship Game scenarios for Oklahoma, Baylor. Oklahoma State is already in the game but awaits their opponent for the Big 12 title.

Oklahoma State has clinched their first berth in the Big 12 Championship Game but awaits the results of Rivalry Week to see who their opponent will be.

The one-loss Cowboys host the one-loss Oklahoma Sooners in the annual Bedlam Series rivalry game. It’s a rivalry that’s been decidedly one-sided for more than a century. Oklahoma leads 90–18–7 and has won six straight and 16 out of the last 18 in the series.

This year’s game marks the first time since 1984 that both will be ranked in the top 10 at the time of the game. The 1984 game saw No. 2 Oklahoma beat No. 3 Oklahoma State 24-14.

If Oklahoma State wants to avoid a rematch with Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship Game, they’ll need to beat the Sooners in Stillwater on Saturday.

If Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State in Stillwater on Saturday, it’ll set up a rematch for the Big 12 Championship in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas next Saturday.

If Oklahoma and Baylor both lose, Baylor will get the bid by virtue of their head-to-head win, but things can get tricky with the Big 12’s tiebreakers.

Oklahoma State beat Baylor 24-14 in Stillwater in their fifth game of the year. Oklahoma State fans welcome all challengers but while it would be great to beat their rivals for the Big 12 Championship Game, beating that team twice in two weeks is a tall task. Whether it’s Baylor or Oklahoma, the Cowboys are one win away from their first Big 12 Championship since 2011, and second overall.
