Iman Shumpert has won the 30th season of Dancing With the Stars, becoming the first NBA player to hoist the Mirrorball Trophy.
Iman Shumpert may be a former NBA champion with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he has added a trophy to his mantle after Monday night.
In the season 30 finale, Iman Shumpert and dance partner Daniella Karagach were named the champions of Dancing With the Stars. Shumpert is now the 12th athlete to win the Mirrorball Trophy and the first NBA player to emerge as the champion.

Iman Shumpert becomes the first NBA player to win Dancing With the Stars
Shumpert and Karagach scored perfect 40’s on both of their dances on Monday night. Those dances were a cha cha/foxtrot fusion dance and a freestyle.
They had some competition in the form of YouTube personality JoJo Siwa and dance partner Jenna Jones, who also scored perfect 40’s on their dances. But, it was Shumpert who was named the winner, and he was left speechless, as you can see in the video above.
Also in the finals were actress Amanda Kloots and Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby.
Shumpert now has bragging rights among his NBA colleagues. He is the first former basketball player to make it to the finals, but he is also the first to win it.
