Picks No. 4 through 6

player. 10. . Quarterback. Houston Texans. Matt Corral. 4

The Houston Texans may have picked up a win their last time out, surprising division rival Tennessee, but this is a team that is going nowhere this season. This offseason will be a crucial one for them, however, as they have to unload Deshaun Watson and find their long-term answer at the quarterback position moving forward.

With pick No. 4 overall in our mock 2022 NFL Draft, they get their long-term guy, selecting Ole Miss signal-caller Matt Corral. Corral is having an outstanding season for head coach Lane Kiffin, and based on everything he brings to the table, he should be the first quarterback off the board next April.

Evan Neal. 5. player. 31. . Offensive Tackle. New York Giants

The New York Giants took on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night, and it was another chance for quarterback Daniel Jones to prove he is the right guy to lead this team. However, the offense stunk, and when all was said and done, they were embarrassed by Tom Brady and company by a score of 30-10.

Looking ahead, the Giants have some outstanding draft capital, but they need to capitalize on it, which should mean getting rid of Dave Gettleman. If they decide Jones is still the choice moving forward, then they should go ahead and get him more protection, adding Evan Neal from Alabama, the best offensive lineman in this draft class.

30. . Wide Receiver. New York Jets. Garrett Wilson. 6. player

With their second pick in the first six selections of this mock draft, the New York Jets add a weapon on offense, selecting Garrett Wilson from Ohio State. If Zach Wilson is truly going to be their guy at quarterback moving forward, they have to get him more players who can get the job done on the outside, and Wilson can do all of that and more.

Between Wilson and Chris Olave, it remains to be seen which Ohio State wideout will be the first at their position off the board, but it should be one of the two. It all depends which players the Jets like more, and if Wilson is the selection, they are going to be happy with what they get from him, even in Year 1.
