5 bold predictions for Raiders against Cowboys
By John Buhler
3. Kenyan Drake will lead the Raiders with over 75 rushing yards on the ground
Even if the Raiders will once again be carried by their passing game on offense, it will be a different leader carrying them out of the backfield. While Josh Jacobs is seen as the starting running back in Las Vegas, it will be Kenyan Drake who will have the better day on Thursday. This will be because of the amount of space the Raiders’ passing game will open up on the ground.
No, neither Raiders running back will have a 100-yard rushing performance, but it will be Drake leading the way with over 75 yards on the ground. When it comes to overall all-purpose yards, he should eclipse 100 on the afternoon with a few catches here and there out of the Raiders backfield. This will go a long way towards the Raiders moving the sticks to contend in a shootout.
Of course, the collective effort by the Raiders’ rushing attack will be overlooked in the grand scheme of things for how things go on Thursday. However, Drake’s clutch performance will at least give the Silver and Black a chance at the upset bid. While the Raiders offense will not be totally balanced, they will be playing from a position where they will not be trailing all afternoon.
Look for Drake to have 80 rushing yards and 25 receiving yards in Week 12 vs. the Cowboys.
