Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons was called for roughing the passer, after Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr fell into him.

Dallas Cowboys fans had to be dealing with heartburn on Thursday night, and it had nothing to do with Thanksgiving dinner. Rather, it had to do with the calls by officials during their Thanksgiving game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Dallas fans were no doubt furious about one penalty in particular.

In the second half, Cowboys rookie linebacker Micah Parsons was called for a roughing the passer penalty. But upon further replay, the flag was thrown after Raiders quarterback Derek Carr…fell right into Parson’s hand and knee. Take a look for yourselves in the video below.

That penalty turned out to be costly for Dallas, as it turned an 11-yard reception by Hunter Renfrow into a 26-yard gain with the penalty. That, and it put the Cowboys further into a hole.

Dallas was already trailing Las Vegas 17-13. Three plays later, Marcus Mariota entered the game for one play, where he ran the ball three yards into the end zone for a touchdown, extending the Raiders’ lead to 24-13.

What stings more than a bad penalty? Well, said bad penalty resulting in points being put on the board. Dallas fans could not have been happy seeing that on their holiday.
