Paul Finebaum has no belief whatsoever that a Jim Harbaugh-led Michigan team could ever beat Ohio State.

Though the Michigan Wolverines host the Ohio State Buckeyes this Saturday, ESPN’s Paul Finebaum thinks Michigan has no chance to ever win this rivalry game as long as Jim Harbaugh is the head coach of his alma mater’s program.

Harbaugh is 0-5 in The Game since leaving the NFL‘s San Francisco 49ers to take over his alma mater’s program in 2015. While last year’s edition was canceled due to COVID-19, Michigan was utterly atrocious a year ago and Harbaugh would be 0-6 in this rivalry series had The Game been played. While Ohio State is beatable, Finebaum has no belief in Harbaugh’s chances to ever win it.

Here is what Finebaum had to say on Get Up! on how little he believes in Harbaugh vs. Ohio State.

Paul Finebaum could 150-years-old and Jim Harbaugh will never beat Ohio State

Finebaum saying he could be 150-years-old and Harbaugh would still have never beaten Ohio State speaks volumes. He added that the Michigan head coach is simply “incapable” of beating his arch rival’s team. What this signifies is the Michigan program has a definite ceiling under Harbaugh: To go 10-2 during the regular season and never make it to Indianapolis or the playoff.

While Ohio State has the better resources over Michigan from a football standpoint, the Wolverines have too much invested in their program to never beat the Buckeyes. It has been about a decade since the Wolverines last got it done over Ohio State. Even if the Buckeyes are the better team this year, losing at home this season will be another terrible look for Harbaugh at Michigan.

Though anything is possible, Harbaugh and Michigan cannot blow its best chance vs. Ohio State.
