As is tradition, the Alabama Crimson Tide will take on the Auburn Tigers in the Iron Bowl on Thanksgiving Weekend.

While the Crimson Tide are clearly the better team this season, this year’s game is being played at Jordan-Hare. This means anything and everything can happen. The Tigers may only be 6-5 on the season, but they have a chance to completely ruin the Crimson Tide’s College Football Playoff dreams with a home victory on Thanksgiving Weekend. It would be quite the upset bid, though.

Here is all the important information needed ahead of this year’s rendition of the Iron Bowl.

Alabama vs. Auburn injury report Week 13

While Crimson Tide defensive lineman D.J. Dale injured his knee in the pre-game warmups for the Arkansas game, he is expected to be out there in the Iron Bowl. With Tigers starting quarterback Bo Nix out for the season with a torn ACL, that means TJ Finley will get his second start under center in Bryan Harsin’s offense. He lost last week at the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Alabama next game and schedule

The Crimson Tide are one of the few teams in the country that know who their next opponent will be. After beating Arkansas at home last Saturday, the Crimson Tide will face the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship. If Alabama beats Auburn and then Georgia, the Crimson Tide are going to the playoff. If they lose either game, the Crimson Tide are destined for a New Year’s Six bowl.

Auburn next game and schedule

For the Tigers, this is their Super Bowl. They may be bowl eligible, but this is easily the biggest game left on their schedule. If Auburn shocks Alabama and gets to 7-5, that might improve their holiday season bowl stock just a bit. In all likelihood, Auburn will enter bowl season at 6-6. From there they could be playing in any number of bowl games scattered throughout the Southeast.
