Some conferences even have a few guys who would fall under that category.
As the regular season starts to come to a close, let’s take a look at the list of players who lead the way with passing touchdowns.
Which quarterback has thrown the most touchdown passes so far?
Who leads the nation in touchdown passes?
Here’s how the list shakes out entering Saturday’s slate of games:
1. Bailey Zappe – Western Kentucky – 48 touchdown passes
T2. Bryce Young – Alabama – 38 touchdown passes
T2. Tanner Mordecai – SMU – 38 touchdown passes
T4. Kenny Pickett – Pittsburgh – 36 touchdown passes
T4. CJ Stroud – Ohio State – 36 touchdown passes
T6. Will Rogers – Mississippi State – 35 touchdown passes

And while these guys are going to continue scoring touchdowns, it doesn’t seem likely that anyone will pass Zappe this season.
