The Michigan Wolverines got a monumental win over the Ohio State Buckeyes, but apparently one star Michigan basketball player expected this to happen.
For the first time under Jim Harbaugh, the Michigan Wolverines came out and beat the Ohio State Buckeyes. The win was stunning, solid, and proved that Michigan has the potential to be a national title contender.
The win was also expected by one of the Michigan basketball team’s stars.
Hunter Dickinson, a 7-foot-1 center, is a force to be reckoned with as he helps lead the Wolverines to victory on the basketball court. He also can apparently see the future because he called Michigan’s monumental win over Ohio State on the gridiron.
And here’s the thing, he boldly called his shot months ago, with the prediction being made on Sept. 2.

Michigan basketball star picked Wolverines to beat Ohio State Buckeyes months ago
Now, it’s fair to wonder if he meant the football team or the basketball team. There’s some overlap in the seasons with the way they’re scheduled and such, but it’s also fair to assume that he was being straightforward and meant the football team was going to beat Ohio State.
And as it turns out Michigan did beat the Buckeyes. The Wolverines haven’t had much success in The Game in this century, but maybe that’s changing. Maybe this game was an outlier. We’ll find out as time marches on.
