10 WR sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 12
Sleepers at every position in fantasy football are important, especially at a deep wide receiver position. These guys have upside to outperform their rank.
Finding and hitting on a sleeper wide receiver pick in fantasy football can win you a matchup or even score you big points in daily fantasy lineups.
These guys have a chance to outperform their ranking this week.
10. Russell Gage, Atlanta Falcons
Russell Gage’s last outing was a 5-49 game in a blowout loss to the New England Patriots. In a game where Cordarrelle Patterson missed time, he was a dependable weapon for Matt Ryan. This should be the case again even with the likely return of Patterson.
Jacksonville has the 19th-ranked pass defense, so the Falcons should be able to move the ball. In what may be a competitive game, Gage will see plenty of action, but temper expectations. He’s a low-end flex with target upside this week.
9. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Tennessee Titans
A.J. Brown was just recently placed on I.R., joining former receiver mate Julio Jones who is also dealing with injury. This leaves no real number one wide receiver for the Titans. Last week, when Brown was in and out of the game with injury, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine caught 7-of-8 targets for 107 yards.
Though the Patriots provide a stingier matchup for Westbrook-Ikhine, sheer volume may make him a fantasy-relevant player this week. He’s a solid flex play who will get looks just out of necessity for Tennessee.
