Aaron Rodgers won’t have surgery yet, but could soon

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won’t be having surgery on his injured toe right now, but it looks like there’s a chance that could change moving forward.
Will Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers need surgery to fix his injured toe? Possibly. Are Rodgers and the Packers hopeful that he can put off that surgery for as long as possible? Probably.
In a tweet, Ian Rapoport shared that the Packers are hoping Rodgers will be able to rest and recover as Green Bay goes through its bye week. It seems like the goal is to try and avoid surgery for the moment, if at all possible.
We’ll see if that’s possible.
According to Rapoport’s tweet, Rodgers is opting out of having surgery done now, but that doesn’t mean he won’t need surgery in the somewhat near future.

It seems inevitable that Rodgers will need to have some sort of procedure to protect his toe. He’s apparently been in so much discomfort from the situation that he needed a painkiller injection prior to the Packers’ game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Rodgers and his toe have received plenty of attention as of late. Of course, Rodgers has been the recipient of an abundance of attention as he’s been the focal point of NFL discussions ever since his COVID-19 vaccine controversy dominated headlines.
