Los Angeles Chargers. 15. team. 13. . 6-5. Previous:

The Bolts headed to Denver to renew acquaintances with their storied rivals. And it was a less-than-scintillating afternoon for the team that had its problems stopping the Broncos’ ground attack (147 yards) and keeping quarterback Justin Herbert out of harm’s way.

He threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns. But he had two of his passes stolen and was sacked three times. The Chargers have dropped four of their last six games after a 4-1 start.

It was another unexpected performance by Vic Fangio’s team and this time it was a positive. The Broncos hosted the rival Chargers and their explosive attack. But the Denver defense made life miserable for second-year signal-caller Justin Herbert. He threw for 303 yards and two TDs.

But Denver sacked him three times and stole two of his passes, with rookie Patrick Surtain II returning one of those thefts 70 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Las Vegas Raiders. 13. team. 28. . 6-5. Previous:

A short week and a trip to Dallas would make it tough for the Raiders to snap their current three-game losing streak. Quarterback Derek Carr – who threw for 373 yards and three touchdowns – led an offense that rolled up 509 total yards.

Las Vegas also ran for 143 yards and limited to Cowboys’ ground attack to just 64 yards. Both teams finished with 14 penalties. Speedster DeSean Jackson’s 56-yard touchdown reception sparked the team.
