5 ideal transfer destinations for TCU RB Zach Evans
By John Buhler
If Georgia can get his commitment once, the Dawgs can certainly do it again
While Georgia is a dark horse to get his commitment this time around, a lot has changed since Evans got out of his NLI two years ago. The Dawgs are going to the College Football Playoff. They are on the verge of winning their first national title since 1980. With Georgia in need of another running back next season, maybe Evans and Smart can mend fences and he will become a Dawg?
Alabama could really use a motivated former five-star at running back for 2022
Guaranteed to have another year of Bryce Young under center, it might serve the Alabama Crimson Tide to bring Evans into the fold to give the offensive attack a bit more balance. While Alabama is certainly capable of winning a national title this year, adding a motivated former five-star as a featured piece in the backfield will make the rest of the SEC incredibly restless in 2022.
Zach Evans can stay in-state and contend for a national title at Texas A&M
The one school where Evans could be heading to is Texas A&M. The Aggies have recruited marvelously under Jimbo Fisher. In the last two years, they have shown at times they can contend for championships with the current roster. With Texas A&M still a bit unsettled at quarterback, why not hand the ball off to Evans a bunch? Surely, he will be incredibly marketable at Texas A&M.
Though other schools could be interested in adding him, expect for Evans to go to the SEC.
