With things falling apart for Kemba Walker at Madison Square Garden, multiple teams are interested in trying to trade for him.

What’s next for Kemba Walker? No one knows the answer to that question, as the sharpshooter might not be suiting up for the New York Knicks much longer. Due to his struggles on the hardwood, Walker has shockingly been removed from the NY rotation by head coach Tom Thibodeau.

With Walker out of the mix at Madison Square Garden, he’s surely not going to accept being an overthought. Well, he may end up with a new team soon, as NBA insider Jordan Schultz is reporting three teams have shown interest in trading for him.

Kemba Walker trade talks are heating up right now

It really has been a year to forget for Walker, as he’s currently posting 11.7 points a night. This wasn’t what fans expected from him once he signed his two-year deal to join New York.

Walker hasn’t looked this rough since his rookie campaign with the Hornets. It’s why Thibodeau made the tough call to send him to the bench and rock with Alec Burks instead. While the teams interested in trying to land Walker haven’t been revealed, it would make sense for a contender to try and bring him to town.

Entering Tuesday’s showdown with the Brooklyn Nets, New York is 11-9 on the season. While the team sits at No. 7 in the Eastern Conference standings, the frustration among the fanbase continues to grow due to inconsistent play.

Walker has headlined things in that department. Now, what was supposed to be a memorable stay at MSG could be over before we know it. Stay tuned to see if a trade does end up going down for Walker in the near future.
