13. Brandon Marshall

In an unexpected turn of events, Brandon Marshall was really damn good. He eclipsed 100 receptions in just his second season, yet somehow got snubbed from the Pro Bowl in 2007. Seriously, 102 catches and over 1,300 yards didn’t get Marshall into the Pro Bowl.

He must have been angry about that, because in 2008, he had 104 catches and earned his first Pro Bowl selection. In 2009, he had his third straight 100 catch season, and also hauled in 10 touchdowns en route to his second consecutive Pro Bowl.

Marshall was sent to the Dolphins prior to 2010, where he spent two seasons, earning his third Pro Bowl in 2011. He reunited with former Broncos teammate Jay Cutler in Chicago in 2012, where he continued to have great seasons. Marshall was a First-Team All-Pro that year. He had 118 receptions for over 1,500 yards and 11 touchdowns. He went on to the Jets in 2015, where he led the NFL with 14 touchdown receptions.

It also can’t go without mention that Marshall holds the record for receptions in a game with 21. He was a six-time Pro Bowler throughout his career. He had eight seasons of 1,000 yards receiving and had six seasons in which he caught at least 100 passes. All of those accolades and Marshall still doesn’t get a ton of love- very underrated.
