1. Kenny Pickett throws 4 touchdowns to lead Pitt to ACC championship
There will be a huge influx of additional viewers for the ACC Championship Game. It won’t just be Pitt and Wake Forest fans, but fans of NFL teams in need of a quarterback of the future. Of course, they will be watching Kenny Pickett.
Pickett’s stock has climbed throughout the season, and for good reason. Breaking former Pitt great Dan Marino’s single-season passing touchdown record will do just that. That record was broken after he threw four touchdown passes in Pitt’s 31-14 win over Syracuse.
On the year, Pickett threw for 4,066 yards, 40 touchdowns and just seven interceptions while posting a 67.7 completion percentage.
Given that Pickett is coming off a four-touchdown performance, we say he can do it again vs. Wake Forest to get Pitt a 49-42 win.
