This week’s DraftKings lineup features high-floor players with good matchups, and spreads the budget out evenly to create a rock-solid daily fantasy lineup.

It’s always tempting to pick the most expensive players in your DraftKings lineups, however you’ll soon realize that fielding a formidable lineup is impossible without spreading your budget around. By using the budget, looking at matchups, and going with your gut, creating a good DraftKings lineup is doable.

Best DraftKings lineup for Week 13

QB: Derek Carr, Las Vegas Raiders ($6,000)

Derek Carr has seen another year of fairly consistent, middle-of-the-road play. He’s the QB14 in fantasy points, and has been more of a streaming option in season-long leagues. For us this week, Carr is cheap and has an incredibly favorable matchup with the Football Team.

Washington has seen a fall from grace this season as a once fearsome defense has quickly turned into a burnable one within one season. Washington is 30th against the pass, allowing 266.6 yards per game and allowing the most fantasy points to the quarterback position.

Finding a cheap quarterback with mounds of upside can take your lineup far come gameday. This game should be competitive when the Raiders take on a Washington team that has won three straight against Tampa Bay, Carolina, and Seattle.
