2. Raiders defense picks off Taylor Heinicke twice in the fourth quarter

For the Raiders to eke out a victory over a way more competitive Washington team than many people realize, they are going to have to win time of possession. The best way they can do that is with a balanced offensive attack that it set up by a timely turnover or two. Fortunately, the Raiders will feed off the energy of the home crowd and that will get the Washington offense into trouble.

Though Taylor Heinicke has been impressive at times this year, he will have a game that is even more proof he is not a franchise quarterback. He will throw picks in bunches, and that is exactly what will happen to him on Sunday. This will not be a banner day for the Raiders secondary, as Heinicke will throw for a ton of yards and touchdowns, but the picks will be the great equalizer.

With one pick on the afternoon and trailing in the fourth quarter, Heinicke will throw his first of two bad interceptions in crunch time. The first one will set up a short field where the Raiders will tack on a field goal to expand their lead. Then on the final offensive possession of the game for Washington, Heinicke gets picked again on a tipped pass, thus setting up the victory formation.

Ultimately, this game will come down to the team who gets better overall quarterback play.
