The Oregon Ducks are often known for their uniforms being special and the many combinations they can roll out thanks to their relationship with Nike and the company’s founder, Phil Knight, having long-standing ties to the school.
For the Pac-12 Championship Game against Utah, though, it was the Oregon football cleats that were the story.
On the big stage in Las Vegas, Nike hooked the Ducks up with Nike Vaporposite Cleats with a “Galaxy” pattern that gave them a highly unique, super fresh look on the field.

If nothing else, these digs by Nike are something else. They are unlike anything we’ve seen before and they combine a number of cool elements about Oregonian culture that the Ducks can be proud of.
Having said that, Mario Cristobal just hoped they would bring his team better luck against Utah than they had in their regular season meeting when the Utes smacked them in the mouth and knocked them out of the College Football Playoff picture.
