The College Football Playoff point spreads are out for the Cotton Bowl between Alabama and Cincinnati and the Orange Bowl between Michigan and Georgia.

The College Football Playoff is set with Alabama, Michigan, Georgia and Cincinnati representing the top four in the CFP rankings.

Notre Dame and Ohio State were the first two teams on the outside looking in.

The Cotton Bowl pits No. 1 Alabama against No. 4 Cincinnati. The kickoff time is expected to be 3:30 on Friday, Dec. 31 from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

That’ll put the Orange Bowl between No. 2 Michigan and No. 3 Georgia in the primetime window at 7:30 p.m. ET from Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.

College Football Playoff point spreads: Alabama favored in Cotton Bowl

According to WynnBET, Alabama is a 13.5-point favorite over Cincinnati. The over/under is set at 58.5.

Based on how well Alabama played against Georgia in the SEC Championship Game, laying that number may be the smart move. Alabama has a penchant for blowing out opponents in semifinal games.

Early pick: Alabama straight up, Alabama covers and the over hits.

College Football Playoff point spreads: Georgia favorited in Orange Bowl

WynnBET has Georgia as a 7.5-point favorite over Michigan in the Orange Bowl. The moneyline is -330 for Georgia and +255 for Michigan. The over/under is set at 43.

The line was a little bigger than I would have thought. Michigan is peaking while Georgia was humbled against Alabama. The line favoring Georgia could be the belief that Michigan’s passing offense won’t be able to attack the Bulldogs defense in the way Bryce Young and Alabama did in the SEC Championship Game.

Georgia’s defense allowed 6.9 points per game before allowing 41 to Alabama. The under is probably the smart way to approach that bet.

Early pick: Georgia wins straight up, Michigan covers, under hits.
