The Michigan Wolverines made the College Football Playoff after winning the Big Ten Championship.
After it seemed like chaos might ensue on the final weekend of the college football season, the playoff field is set…and ended up being rather predictable.
Michigan, after defeating rival Ohio State and then winning their conference championship in back-to-back weeks, was well in the Final Four, while watching the Buckeyes just miss out on another chance at glory. Safe to say establishments in Ann Arbor were quite happy watching the reveal.
Give Jim Harbaugh credit — he entered this season arguably on the hot seat, and turned around a program built on tradition. Now, Harbaugh has established some tradition of his own.

To be
A Michigan Wolverine!!#GOBLUE #OrangeBowl
Michigan fans, previously experts at doom-scrolling on social media in pretty much every edition of ‘The Game’ this century, finally had something to cheer on.
Wolverine faithful reacted in kind, not knowing what to do with their hands in a rather comfortable afternoon at the U of M.
Michigan’s defense was the staple of its season, with a stable running game to boot led by Hassan Haskins, who had four touchdowns against Ohio State. Offensively, this group has come alive the last few weeks including The Game, and scored 42 points against a very respectable defensive unit in Iowa.
Harbaugh arranged for a ‘Big Ten Champions’ banner to be hung in Michigan’s practice facility as of Sunday morning, showing over-confidence really isn’t a concern for Aiden Hutchinson and Co.
