Minnesota Vikings’ fans are in misery and need some help moving past the everyday pain that their fandom brings them.
Spain without the s. The emotional equivalent of slamming your toe into a coffee table. Barely preferable to stepping barefoot on a lego. Just like playing Dark Souls except you have no controller and also you are on fire.
These are all things that have been used to describe what being a Minnesota Vikings fan is like.

The Vikings are perpetually stuck being either the second or fourth-best team in the NFC North, Kirk Cousins is both Joe Montana and Daniel Carlson at the same time, and no one in the Minnesota organization seems to realize that their garbage can of a franchise is on fire.
So to save Minnesota Vikings fans the shame of continuing to have to identify as Vikings fans (and everyone else in the world who has been using up their hand sanitizer by double sanitizing every time you meet a Vikings fan) here are some alternative teams to root for.
Arizona Cardinals
Root for the best team in the NFC, because then you will finally get to see a team win games. You will also have a team to root for in January the next few years because let’s face it, the Vikings are a few seasons away from another playoff run.
You can also use the elite level of play the Cardinals bring every week as justification and appeasement to the small piece of your brain that still wants to root for Minnesota. “The Vikings don’t suck, the NFC is just loaded with talent right now.”
Arizona is an exciting team to watch with players that are always motivated and playing hard to win the game. Kyler Murray is electric to watch play, De’Andre Hopkins is the best receiver in the league, and Kliff Kingsbury is truly the luckiest coach to ever make the transition from the NCAA to NFL. Replace your tear-filled beers of Minnesota fandom with the festive and joyous margaritas of Cardinal fandom (Vikings fans making this switch: margaritas are fresh lime juice, triple sec, and tequila, nothing more).
