Jake Paul responds to Tommy Fury pulling from fight
In typical Paul fashion, the YouTube personality turned boxer had much to say about the change in competition.
“Tommy Fury is boxing’s biggest [expletive],” Paul said in a video posted to Instagram. “He has pulled out of the fight. The Furys have pulled out of the fight due to a ‘medical condition.’ It still doesn’t even seem real. He was scared, I think the [expletive] talk got to him. That’s the bad news.”
This is a rematch to the split decision outcome that occurred on August 29. Woodley and Paul led into that fight with a vast amount of trash talk and even bets that resulted in Woodley getting a tattoo of Paul’s name on his finger.
The Paul vs. Woodley rematch will occur on December 18 in an eight-round contest at the Amelie Arena in Tampa, FL. The fight will be available on Showtime via pay-per-view.
