20. Odell Beckham Jr makes the catch of a lifetime

In terms of pure difficulty and skill, the catch that Odell Beckham Jr made against the Dallas Cowboys in 2014 may be the greatest catch in history.

Beckham Jr caught the long pass from Eli Manning with one hand behind his head as he was falling into the end zone and being interfered with- it was an absolutely ungodly play. It would be a lot higher if it went on to have any other meaning besides “Wow, that was cool.” It was during a regular-season game and the Giants didn’t win anything of note that year. Beckham himself has even said that the play is “bittersweet” because he doesn’t want his career to be defined by one catch.

The catch itself was a ludicrous act of physics and hand strength that very few people in this world would be able to pull off. That said, there were no ramifications behind the game that make it worth putting above the other plays on the list. It’s done great things for Beckham, but outside of looking great and being a fantastic physical effort, it didn’t really mean much in the long run.
