Pick Analysis. 872. TCU Horned Frogs. Zach Evans. 5. player. Scouting Report. RB

Zach Evans‘ two-year run at TCU did not go according to plan. The five-star running back from Houston had one of the most tumultuous recruiting sagas coming out of high school. He signed his national letter of intent to play for Kirby Smart at Georgia, but was later let out of it. Evans stayed in the Lone Star State to play for the iconic Gary Patterson at TCU over in Fort Worth.

With Patterson being ousted and Sonny Dykes taking over the TCU program, Evans is looking for a fresh start. While he could play for other Big 12 programs in the state, odds are he is heading to the SEC. If he wants to check both boxes of playing in Texas, as well as playing in the SEC, there is only one option. Jimbo Fisher will love the sound of that with Evans coming to College Station.

Prediction: Texas A&M

880. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. RB. 4. player. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Jahmyr Gibbs

It’s pretty clear what is going on in Atlanta. Many top Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets players are running out of patience with head coach Geoff Collins and are tired of the losing. When notable players like star running back Jahmyr Gibbs hits the transfer portal, that speaks volumes. The four-star from Dalton may be in for a huge upgrade when it comes to his transfer destination.

Even if there is a school up the road in Athens that would love to have his talent, nobody with Tech ties wanted anything to do with Georgia. Better yet, why not go to the one program the Dawgs cannot beat for the life of them? The Ramblin’ Wreck may have no chance of beating Georgia in Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate, but Gibbs transferring to Alabama sure is one way of beating them.

Prediction: Alabama
