Inspired by the Phoenix Suns’ recent win streak, the Over and Back Podcast does a deep dive into the longest win streaks in NBA history.

The Phoenix Suns recently went on a franchise-record 18-game win streak and it got us thinking: wait, did we never do a show on the longest win streaks in NBA history?

We never did! But today, we change that.

Presenting a deep dive into the longest win streaks in NBA history including:

Los Angeles Lakers’ all-time record 33-game win streak, Elgin Baylor‘s unfortunate injury and Jim McMillian‘s emergence.

Golden State Warriors 28-game streak over multiple seasons, a debate on if it should count or not and the story of how Rich saw the streak end live.

LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh power the Miami Heat’s 27-game streak.

Houston Rockets’ improbable 22-game streak in 2008 and what could have been with the duo of Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming.

The Kareem Abdul-Jabbar- and Oscar Robertson-led Milwaukee Bucks put up a 20-game streak in 1971.

We’ll also touch on an early win streak record from a Red Auerbach’s Washington Capitols team and everything you could ever want to know about Kleggie Hermsen.  We also do a quick dive into the longest postseason win streaks of all time including the 2017 Golden State Warriors Warriors, the 1999 and 2012 San Antonio Spurs, the 2003 New Jersey Nets and finally, the 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers.
