The Packers need to defeat the Bears if they want to keep fighting for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. Here are five bold predictions on how Green Bay can do that.

Green Bay and Chicago are bitter rivals, but there’s no question who has the better football team this year. If things go according to plan for the Packers they should comfortably dispatch the Bears at home on Sunday Night Football.

Of course, things rarely go according to plan in the NFL. Green Bay needs to play a quality football game to keep their hopes of securing home-field advantage throughout the NFL playoffs alive. They currently trail the Cardinals by one game in the standings and need to knock off the Bears to keep pressure on Arizona.

Count on the Packers to handle their business at Lambeau Field against their division rivals. Here are five bold predictions on how Green Bay will secure their 10th victory of the season.

5. Josiah Deguara will score a touchdown

The Packers really miss Robert Tonyan’s ability to make big catches over the middle, but Deguara is starting to emerge as a quality option for Aaron Rodgers. He’s still splitting time with Mercedes Lewis at the tight end spot but he’s starting to earn more and more snaps in Matt LaFleur’s offense.

The Bears certainly aren’t going to pay him a ton of attention which will give him a shot to find the end zone in this game. Don’t be surprised if Rodgers finds him for an easy score on a check down.
