Picks No. 11 through 14

. Wide Receiver. New Orleans Saints. Garrett Wilson. 11. player. 15

The New Orleans Saints are a team that has a lot to work on this offseason, especially when it comes to the quarterback spot. It is clear that Taysom Hill is not a starting quarterback in the NFL, though if Jameis Winston comes back healthy, he is certainly someone that Sean Payton can get the most out of.

No matter who is under center next season, the Saints need some help on the outside, and Garrett Wilson from Ohio State should be the first wide receiver off the board in 2022. This is a kid who can flat out go up and get the football, and he would upgrade a position group lacking real depth next season.

54. . Defensive Lineman. Philadelphia Eagles. DeMarvin Leal. 12. player

The third team in this first round who has back-to-back draft picks is the Philadelphia Eagles, who will actually pick three times in the first round next April. Luckily for the Eagles, they have the kind of draft capital that can turn around their franchise, but they have to make sure they get it right.

At pick No. 12 overall, their first of three picks, the Eagles go with a defensive lineman in DeMarvin Leal that is going to be special at the next level. Philadelphia’s defense needs playmakers, and in Leal, they get not only a run-stuffing defensive tackle but one who can make plays in the backfield.

. Linebacker. Philadelphia Eagles. Devin Lloyd. 13. player. 54

The No. 13 overall pick lands in the Philadelphia Eagles lap thanks to the trade they made with the Miami Dolphins. While the pick is No. 13 now, the Dolphins are one of the hottest teams in football right now, so this one could be a bit later in round one than the Eagles had hoped for.

Still, there is a lot of talent left to select from at pick No. 13, and with the selection, Philadelphia continues to stack talent on the defensive side of the ball. Devin Lloyd showed during the Pac-12 title game just how special he is, and he would be an incredible addition to a linebacking group that has struggled all season long.

45. . Quarterback. Denver Broncos. Malik Willis. 14. player

Another team that has some questions when it comes to the quarterback spot is the Denver Broncos, who have used a combination of Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock this season. Neither player is considered a long-term solution for the organization, so they may select a quarterback in the first round in 2022.

That pick could be Malik Willis, a stellar talent from Liberty who may have the highest ceiling of any quarterback in this draft class. Denver has been looking for an answer at quarterback since the Peyton Manning days, and maybe that answer is Willis.
