Now that Dan Lanning has been hired to coach the Oregon Ducks, Georgia football fans might be wondering whether or not he’ll coach in the College Football Playoff.
The Georgia football program will be losing a key member of its coaching staff when Dan Lanning leaves for Eugene, Oregon. It has been reported that Lanning will be named as the next head coach of the Oregon Ducks, which could potentially leave the Bulldogs in an awkward spot.

That’s huge news for the Bulldogs.
Lanning has helped design one of the best defenses college football has seen in quite a while. Having him help in the College Football Playoff is a big benefit to the Georgia coaching staff and gives the Bulldogs a real opportunity to compete for a national championship this season.
