If the Las Vegas Raiders are ready to move on from Derek Carr, they’ll need to find an adequate replacement. Here are three quarterbacks they should consider.

Things aren’t going well for the Las Vegas Raiders at the moment and it looks like things might need to change sooner rather than later. If the Raiders are looking to make a drastic move that might give them a fresh start, parting ways with 30-year-old Derek Carr could help do just that.

It’s worth noting that taking a move like moving on from an experienced quarterback like Carr can be risky. While there have been some low moments, Carr has been a solid quarterback for the Raiders throughout his career and he’s currently averaging over 300 passing yards per game for the Raiders this season.

But he’s not getting any younger and the Raiders aren’t exactly winning right now. Would the Raiders be willing to move on and start over with a new quarterback?

3. Kenny Pickett, University of Pittsburgh

If the Raiders want to find someone in the draft, one of the best options available in this year’s draft class would be Pittsburgh Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett. A Heisman finalist, Pickett was electrifying to watch throughout the season, helping the Panthers win the ACC Championship and elevating his team along the way.

Pickett isn’t perfect, but he’s a solid option in this coming draft. He’s completed 67.2 percent of his passes for 4,319 yards and 42 touchdowns against just seven interceptions. For his career, Pickett has thrown for 12,303 yards and 81 touchdowns with 32 picks.

Pickett probably won’t be the first quarterback taken in the draft, but that might give the Raiders an even better opportunity to select him without having to trade up too much.
