Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. East. Indiana Hoosiers. Big Ten. 3. player. 813

With Michael Penix Jr. transferring, Tom Allen could bring Kedon Slovis to IU

The Indiana Hoosiers were one of the handful of schools to recruit Slovis out of high school. While they were unable to sign him, Tom Allen is still in charge in Bloomington. Given that the Hoosiers went a terrible 2-10 this year and former starting Michael Penix Jr. has hit the transfer portal as well, Indiana would be an interesting Power Five landing spot for Slovis if he goes to the Big Ten.

South. Arizona Wildcats. 2. 835. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Pac-12. player

The Arizona native could turn his attention to the Pac-12 South school in Tuscon

The thought of Slovis going back to his home state always made sense. However, Jayden Daniels electing to play another year at Arizona State means the Scottsdale native is not likely to be a Sun Devil. So with that in mind, Slovis can stay in-division and play for Jedd Fisch’s rebuilding Arizona Wildcats team down in Tucson. Surely, he can win the starting quarterback job if he goes to U of A.

It may be Group of Five, but replacing Nick Starkel at San Jose State makes sense

While it may be dropping down a level, Slovis should consider playing for the San Jose State Spartans in the Mountain West. Brent Brennan’s team won the conference title bout only last year. With Nick Starkel having exhausted all of his collegiate eligibility, Slovis can stay in California and play for one of the better programs in the Mountain West. This may help his 2023 NFL Draft stock.

Look for Slovis to transfer to either a lower Power Five program or try his luck in the Group of Five.
