NFL power rankings, Week 15: Chiefs roll, Browns escape
The Colts have won seven of their last 10 games after a 0-3 start. The star for the club has been running back Jonathan Taylor, who leads the NFL in rushing yards (1,348), total yards from scrimmage (1,684) and trips to the end zone (18).
Linebacker Darius Leonard had had a big year for a defense that has been a little inconsistent. There have been a few bumps in the road for quarterback Carson Wentz but he’s enjoyed a solid year with his new team.
Last week, Sean McVay’s team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 37-7 rout of the Jaguars. But the stakes will be much higher on Monday night at Arizona. The Rams will be looking to avenge a 37-20 home loss to the Cardinals back in Week 4.
Prior to that loss, McVay’s club had defeated the Cards eight straight times and by a combined score of 251-91. Can the Rams hand Kliff Kingsbury’s team its first loss within the division this season?
Bruce Arians’ squad played host to the talented Buffalo Bills. And the reigning Super Bowl champions had their way in this game for better than three quarters. But a 17-point fourth-quarter lead eventually disappeared and the team went to overtime.
Veteran Tom Brady wound up throwing for 363 yards and a pair of TDs. And the second of those scores came in OT when he found Breshad Perriman on a 58-yard strike that gave Arians’ team its 10th win.
