With the Cleveland Browns hoping to close the campaign out strong to make the postseason, they’ve been dealt some major adversity on the COVID front.

Fresh off a win over the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday, the Cleveland Browns’ confidence had been high. The team is ready to try and not only grab an AFC Wild Card spot, but potentially take down the Ravens for the AFC North crown.

Well, things just got quite complicated for the squad heading into Sunday’s matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders. There’s because several stars on offense, plus defense, have been placed on the COVID list. This is simply brutal timing for Cleveland.

Jarvis Landry is among the studs on the COVID list for the Browns

For the Browns, Jarvis Landry, Austin Hooper, Drew Forbes, Wyatt Teller, Jedrick Wills and Takkarist McKinley have all been placed on the COVID list. For quarterback Baker Mayfield, he’s not only seen key offensive linemen get the bad news, but pass-catchers Landry and Hooper being added is also a big-time blow.

Landry has been battling injuries this season, but he’s a massive part of this offense when he’s healthy. With Odell Beckham Jr. out of town and now catching touchdowns for the Los Angeles Rams, Landry was being looked at to lead the receivers room.

Now, though, his status for Sunday’s important meeting with Las Vegas is completely up in the air. With the Raiders also in the Wild Card hunt, the Week 15 showdown is going to have a major say in one of these teams potentially going from sneaking in, to maybe having to watch the playoffs from the couch.

Stay tuned to see which Browns will be available for this contest, but things really aren’t looking good right now.
