FanDuel NFL 2021: Best lineup for Week 15

James Conner, Arizona Cardinals at Detroit Lions-$8,000

Conner didn’t light it up on the ground against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 14 (13 carries for 31 yards), but he scored twice and added nine catches for 94 yards. He has found the end zone in seven straight games, and a great matchup is coming in Week 15.

The Lions are allowing the second-most FanDuel points to running backs this season (26.4 per game), and they’re coming off getting dominated by the Broncos on the ground in Week 14 as Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams combined for 184 rushing yards and four total touchdowns.

The Cardinals are heavy favorites on Sunday, so even if Chase Edmonds returns to action there should be plenty of carries to go around. Conner feels like a lock to score once or twice.

Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos vs, Cincinnati Bengals-$7,000

Speaking of Williams, he had 15 carries for 73 yards and a touchdown along with a 10-yard touchdown reception against the Lions in Week 14. He has a receiving touchdown in back-to-back games, with 13 targets over the two games prior to last week.

It’s a middle of the road matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15 for Williams. But Melvin Gordon is apparently dealing with a sprained thumb, and even if it won’t cause him to miss time limiting his work if possible feels like an order. And Williams showed what he can do as the clear lead back in Week 13.

Williams is the same price as Gordon on FanDuel this week, and cheaper than someone (D’Andre Swift) who may not even play. I’m going back to the well here for Week 15, with hope Williams sees a bit more work with Gordon banged up.
