Wide Receivers

Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons-$6,600

With Deebo Samuel taking on a hybrid role, Aiyuk has practically become San Francisco’s No. 1 wide receiver with at least six targets and more than 50 yards in four straight games. Going back a bit futher, he has at least six targets in six of his last seven games. Week 15 brings a nice matchup.

The Atlanta Falcons are allowing the fifth-most FanDuel points to opposing wide receivers this season, including 16 touchdowns allowed to the position (a multi-way tie for second-most in the league).

Paying up elsewhere required me to go cheap at wide receiver. Aiyuk is a nice start there.

Julio Jones, Tennessee Titans at Pittsburgh Steelers-$6,000

Jones returned from IR in Week 14 against the Jaguars, and while he didn’t put up huge numbers (four catches for 33 yards) he did lead the team with six targets. A non-competitive also tamped down his snap count.

With A.J. Brown set to miss one more game on IR, Jones is lined up to function as Tennessee’s No. 1 wide receiver in Week 15 against the Steelers, who are in the bottom-10 of the league against wide receivers through Week 14.

At $6,000, another week removed from his injury and a good matchup, Jones feels like a no-brainer.

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions vs. Arizona Cardinals-$5,900

After catching the game-winning touchdown in Week 13, St. Brown had eight receptions for 73 yards (on 12 targets in Week 14. Has 18 catches on 24 targets over the last two games, with more than 70 yards in both as he has become the Lions’ No. 1 wide receiver.

It’s not a fantastic matchup for St. Brown in Week 15, as the Cardinals are in the middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to wide receivers this season. But Detroit is a big underdog, and even if tight end T.J. Hockenson returns on Sunday the rookie receiver out of USC will get plenty of work in what promises to be a pass-heavy game for Jared Goff.
