4. Allen Lazard will get 12 targets
Davante Adams is clearly the Packersā best wide receiver, but Lazard has worked his way into becoming a solid secondary option for Rodgers in recent weeks. Heāll be looking to build off his six-catch, 75-yard performance from last week.
The Ravensā defensive staff is going to go overboard in their efforts to keep the ball out of Adamsā hands. The idea will be to force Rodgers to beat them with other receivers. Thatās good news for Lazard and the rest of Green Bayās receiver room.
He caught six balls on seven targets last week, but his volume is set to take a big jump on Sunday afternoon. Rodgers is going to go to him early and often due to the single coverage heāll see. Look for Lazard to get at least 12 targets and heāll flirt with 10 catches on the day.
The key for Lazard turning his production from good to great against Baltimore will be whether or not he can bust one big play over top of the Ravensā secondary. If he does, it could allow Green Bay to build a more comfortable lead than most experts expect.
