4. Allen Lazard will get 12 targets

Davante Adams is clearly the Packers’ best wide receiver, but Lazard has worked his way into becoming a solid secondary option for Rodgers in recent weeks. He’ll be looking to build off his six-catch, 75-yard performance from last week.

The Ravens’ defensive staff is going to go overboard in their efforts to keep the ball out of Adams’ hands. The idea will be to force Rodgers to beat them with other receivers. That’s good news for Lazard and the rest of Green Bay’s receiver room.

He caught six balls on seven targets last week, but his volume is set to take a big jump on Sunday afternoon. Rodgers is going to go to him early and often due to the single coverage he’ll see. Look for Lazard to get at least 12 targets and he’ll flirt with 10 catches on the day.

The key for Lazard turning his production from good to great against Baltimore will be whether or not he can bust one big play over top of the Ravens’ secondary. If he does, it could allow Green Bay to build a more comfortable lead than most experts expect.
