1. The Packers’ offense will rush for less than 75 yards

This game is a terrific matchup Rodgers, but it’s a nightmare for A.J. Dillon, Aaron Jones, and the rest of Green Bay’s running backs. The Ravens defense will attack the line of scrimmage and make sure the Packers don’t get anything going on the ground.

The end numbers for Green Bay’s rushing attack will be ugly. They won’t get anywhere near 100 yards on the ground. Pounding the ball into Baltimore’s defensive line is an exercise in futility. The Packers will quickly abandon their dreams of pounding this game out on the ground after they get stuffed at the line of scrimmage during the first quarter.

This doesn’t mean the Packers’ running backs can’t have a big impact on this game. Jones, in particular, could be a really valuable pass-catcher for Rodgers when he needs to get rid of the ball against the blitz. There’s even a possibility that Jones can bust out a big touchdown run after the catch if Baltimore misses a key tackle.

Aaron Rodgers is mad at the Packers' coaching staff (again). dark. Next

One lucky run could throw this bold prediction out of the window, but Baltimore is too good to let Green Bay get anything going consistently on the ground. Rodgers will win this game for the Packers in a shootout without the support of a quality rushing attack.
