Quarterback Myles Brennan announced that he is staying at LSU in an epic tweet on Thursday.

The LSU Tigers have undergone quite an overhaul in the past month. Head coach Ed Orgeron is out, and Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly has arrived to take over. With a new coach, it likely means change is on the horizon. Well, Kelly was informed that one quarterback will be staying with the program.

On Thursday, quarterback Myles Brennan announced on his Twitter account that he is staying at Baton Rouge after entering the transfer portal back in November. But his tweet was rather epic, considering he posted a video of the infamous “I’m not leaving” scene from the film “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

LSU football: Myles Brennan announces he’s staying at Baton Rouge

Brennan was not the only one to get in on quotes from the Martin Scorsese film. LSU football’s official Twitter account sent out a video of Brennan walking out of the tunnel and into Tiger Stadium with the caption reading “the show goes on.”

This news come after Max Johnson announced on Dec. 6 that he was entering the transfer portal.

In the past two years,  Brennan had not had the best of luck in terms of staying active. He played in three games for the 2020 season after he suffered a year-ending abdominal muscle tear. Then, prior to this season, Brennan broke his arm.

Brennan appeared in 18 games through four years at LSU, where he threw for 1,712 yards, 13 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 60.2-percent of his passes.

While Johnson is set to make his transfer decision, Brennan will stay to play under his new head coach, in hopes of winning the program another National Championship.
