Urban Meyer’s daughter goes on Instagram rant against ‘enemy’ after firing

After it was announced that Urban Meyer had been fired by the Jacksonville Jaguars, his daughter backed him up with a passionate message on Instagram. 

Just like that, the Urban Meyer experiment in Jacksonville has finally come to an end. Meyer’s time with the Jags has been filled with drama, with things apparently being sent over the top thanks to former kicker Josh Lambo.

Well, Meyer’s daughter has come out and blasted everyone for ripping him and her family. Meyer’s daughter, Gigi, made it more than clear that her old man will be able to bounce back from this negative experience.

If you’re wondering who Gigi is, she’s indeed Meyer’s daughter. She’s always been quick to defend her pops on social media, and you just knew this was going to be the case on Thursday morning after it was announced that the ball coach had been canned.

Meyer didn’t even make it through his first season as a head man running the show in the NFL and to be honest, it’s not a major surprise. Things have been going downhill for him for months now. No one has forgotten about the video of him dancing with a young woman, while his 2-11 record is also a joke.

The hope was that Meyer would be able to try and help No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence grow into a star quarterback, but if anything, it has felt like he has been holding the rookie back. Now, Meyer is out of a job and the Jaguars are going to have to search for a different guy to lead this team.

It’s going to be a busy offseason for Shahid Khan. Now, things got even more complicated with him now having to find Meyer’s replacement.
