New York Giants. 2. QB. player. 31. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Mike Glennon

Mike Glennon is good at being tall and that is about it. It’s Jake Fromm Time!

Even though he is a backup at this point of his NFL career, the New York Giants should not start Mike Glennon any more. If Daniel Jones is healthy, sure, you can start him in what is the tail-end of another lost season for the G-Men. Glennon was an unmitigated disaster for the Giants vs. the Dallas Cowboys. He stunk so badly that he eventually gave way to Jake Fromm in garbage time.

Glennon completed 13-of-24 passes for 99 yards, no touchdowns and three interceptions on the afternoon. 4.1 yards per passing attempt and a 24.8 quarterback rating doesn’t cut it in this league. Though Fromm was far from perfect in his regular-season debut, this was his regular-season debut! The former Georgia standout has only been with the team for a few weeks, too.

After falling to Dallas 21-6 to stumble to 4-10 on the season, what do the Giants have to lose in seeing what they have in Fromm going forward? They know what they have in Jones, and he’s not it. As for Glennon, he is good at being tall and not much else. Fromm may be just a guy in the NFL, but the Giants need to figure out if they lucked into something very interesting at quarterback.

The Giants are playing for next year right now, so it serves them to see what they have in Fromm.
