18. Reggie White

Can you imagine being a quarterback and eating a sack from Reggie White on your blind side? One could imagine it probably isn’t a walk in the park.

For 15 seasons, the former No. 4 overall pick was one of the best defensive lineman in the NFL. Whether it was with the Philadelphia Eagles or Green Bay Packers, The Minister of Defense was always keen for a big hit on an opposing quarterback or ball carrier. From 1986-91, White was a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro every season. He was named Defensive Player of the Year in 1987 after recording 21 sacks, which led the league. He led the NFL in sacks in 1988, as well, with 18.

White went to Green Bay in 1993, and continued to dominate. He was a Pro Bowler every year with the Packers, and helped them win Super Bowl XXXI over New England. White won his second Defensive Player of the Year Award in 1998 after recording 16 sacks.

White retired with 198 sacks and over 1,100 tackles. He is regarded as the best pass rusher of all time by many, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
