24. Thomas Hill (1989-1993)

When fans think about the early 1990s Duke teams the players that come to mind are obviously Christian Laettner, Grant Hill, and Bobby Hurley, but one name many forget about is Thomas Hill. Hill got to campus just a year after Christian Laettner and at the same time as Bobby Hurley. And during his four years in Durham, he helped the Blue Devils accomplish some incredible things.

Over his four years, Hill helped Duke to two ACC Regular Season Championships, an ACC Tournament Championship, three Final Fours, and two National Championships. That is an absolutely incredible resume, and when you add Hill’s three All-ACC honors to the list of accomplishments, he is certainly deserving of being on this list as one of the best Duke basketball players under Coach K.

Hill didn’t play much his freshman year as he didn’t start a single game. But over his final three seasons with the Blue Devils, he averaged 13.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. The Pacers took Hill with the 39th overall pick in the 1993 NBA Draft, but Hill never saw the court in an NBA game.
