48. Daniel Ewing (2001-2005)

Daniel Ewing got to Duke ahead of the 2001-02 season, just two years after one of the best Duke teams of all time failed to win the National Championship as the Blue Devils came into the game on a 32-game win streak. That being said, Duke was hungry for success, and Ewing was a great start towards that success.

Ewing was at Duke for four seasons, averaging 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals over the course of his time in Durham. Over the course of his four years, he helped Duke to an ACC Regular Season Title, three ACC Tournament Titles, and he also helped them make the Final Four in 2004, plus the Sweet 16 in 2002, 2003, and 2005.

Ewing was a vital part of Duke’s success as he was named to the 2004-05 All-ACC Third Team, was named to the All-ACC Tournament team three times, and was named the ACC Tournament MVP in 2003, when the Blue Devils won the tournament.
