Wyoming football coach gets french fry bath after winning Famous Idaho Potato Bowl

With a win in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, Craig Bohl, the head coach of the Wyoming football program, got to enjoy a bunch of french fries.

College football is best when it’s a little weird and one of the best traditions in all of college football involves french fries and the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

Following the conclusion of the game, rather than dumping a bucket of cold Gatorade, Powerade, water, or really any other liquid, the winning coach gets a bucket of french fries dumped on his head.

Because the Wyoming Cowboys won this season, Wyoming football coach Craig Bohl got the pleasure of being plastered with potatoes this season.

Bohl earned the honor of getting covered with spuds as the Cowboys soundly beat the Kent State Golden Flashes by a score of 52-38. The contest featured plenty of offense as both teams combined for 1,191 yards, 50 first downs, and, well, 90 points.

The Cowboys’ determination to run the ball to the tune of gaining 408 rushing yards and scoring six touchdowns on the ground off of 53 carries helped cement this win and a bunch of french fries for Bohl.
