Bold Prediction #5: Odell Beckham and Cooper Kupp both have huge weeks
Odell Beckham Jr. took a couple of weeks to get used to the Los Angeles Rams offense with Matthew Stafford, but he’s been really good over the past three weeks (not including the Seahawks game which hasn’t happened at the time of this writing). He’s had a touchdown in each matchup, and he had at least seven targets against the Cardinals and Packers. This week, Beckham is taking on the Minnesota Vikings. They’ve allowed 41 points to the wide receiver position per game this season. That’s the most in the league.
Things look even better for Rams wide receiver owners when looking at the Vikings as of late. They’ve allowed 52 points per game over the past month, which includes eight total touchdowns. The 892 receiving yards allowed over the past month is also the most in the league. The Vikes are not very good in their secondary right now, and passing teams are taking advantage.
It’s not like this game will go like the Jaguars matchup. The Vikings are going to fight tooth and nail as they look to keep their playoff position intact. So, the Rams will be throwing in this game.
Speaking of throwing, the front runner for Offensive Player of the Year is about to have a huge performance again. Cooper Kupp is the best weapon in the league outside of Jonathan Taylor this season. He’s about to put up something ridiculous. How does 10 catches for 170 yards and two touchdowns sound? That’s the prediction here.
