Picks No. 23 through 25

23. player. 54. . Linebacker. Philadelphia Eagles. Nakobe Dean

The Philadelphia Eagles officially hold a third first-round pick, this after Carson Wentz played enough to trigger this cause in the trade for him. After adding talent to the defensive line and the secondary with their first two selections, back-to-back picks at No. 11 and 12, Philadelphia fixes the second level of the defense here.

That player is Nakobe Dean, one of two first-round talents at the linebacker position, and a player who fits in nicely on this Eagles defense. Philadelphia brings in three defensive first-rounders in this mock draft, hopefully fixing their issues on that side of the ball.

50. . Wide Receiver. Detroit Lions. Chris Olave. 24. player

The Detroit Lions pulled off a stellar victory this past weekend, defeating a ten-win Arizona Cardinals team, and looking very good in the process. Quarterback Jared Goff has actually looked very good as of late, and many are considering that he could be a long-term answer in the Motor City.

If that is the case, they have to get him more weapons, and they do so by adding Ohio State playmaker Chris Olave here at pick No. 24. Olave is widely considered a top-3 wideout in this draft class and would be the top option at the position in Detroit immediately.

player. 56. . Offensive Lineman. Cincinnati Bengals. Ikem Ekwonu. 25

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals go into Week 16 of the 2021 NFL season with an 8-6 record and based on their matchup with Baltimore, first place in the AFC North. Baltimore can enact revenge on Cincinnati this weekend in a tough AFC North battle, but they may do it without Lamar Jackson.

Sitting here at pick No. 25, the Bengals need to continue to stack talent along the offensive line, protecting their No. 1 asset in Burrow. Ikem Ekwonu is a special talent, one that can play in the interior or at tackle, giving the Bengals some versatility along the offensive line.
