CVS Christmas Eve hours: Is CVS open?

No one could be blamed for running out of allergy medicine at the worst time or for needing some snacks in a hurry. And what about those kids you forgot to buy presents for? It’s Christmas. There’s a lot to juggle. And there’s always something more that needs to get done.

The hard part isn’t forgetting all the stuff on your plate. It’s getting what you need in a pinch when most other stores are closed for the holidays.

CVS Christmas Eve hours: Is CVS open on Christmas Eve?

The good news is CVS should be open on Christmas Eve in 2021.

Nationally, CVS stores will operate under normal hours on Dec. 24 so you can turn to them in your time of need. However, local stores may still change their hours, so it’s always best to call before you go to double-check that the doors will be open when you get there.

Things get more complicated if you need a prescription from a CVS Pharmacy inside of another retailer like Target. Those locations are governed by Target’s hours for Christmas Eve and other holidays.

As for Christmas Day, CVS locations around the country will be open, just under adjusted hours from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Again, it’s best to call your local store to find out their exact hours so you don’t make an unnecessary trip.
